We Can’t Forgive the Grifters for Getting It So Wrong
Days later, “World War III” has ended, apparently making it the shortest world war in the history of imaginary world wars.
Well, that didn’t take long.
After weeks of escalating conflict between Israel and Iran — including the impressive evisceration of Iran’s military capabilities and the upper ranks of its leadership, let alone Donald Trump’s destruction of Iran’s nuclear ambitions — we now have something resembling a ceasefire. It’s shaky, yes, and it won’t last, obviously. After all, Iran’s regime still chants “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” like it’s a sacred prayer. But regardless, it’s obvious that Iran has been dealt a serious blow. Their military has been set back by years, maybe more. Their infrastructure? Wrecked. Their credibility? In ashes.
And make no mistake: This is a good outcome for the United States. It’s a disastrous one for the Islamic Republic. And here’s the kicker — at best, it’s a mixed bag for Israel, which should forever debunk the absurd notion that American foreign policy is dictated by Benjamin Netanyahu. That old antisemitic fever dream — that Israel pulls the strings in Washington — should die a loud, public death.
But there’s another layer here: The grifters who declared the arrival of doomsday who are now scrambling to spin the story. Remember them? The all-too-online influencer class who screamed “WORLD WAR THREE!” while pounding out threads in all-caps? The ones who pointed fingers at Israel, declaring it the aggressor, the puppet master, the cause of it all?
Yeah. Those people.
The Tucker Carlsons, Candace Owenses, Dave Smiths, Steve Bannons and Marjorie Taylor Greenes of the world.
Days later, “World War III” has ended, apparently making it the shortest world war in the history of imaginary world wars. And what happened? The grifter class is shamelessly pivoting, pretending their recent comments simply didn’t exist, and even praising Donald Trump, the same man they were accusing of being a warmongering, neocon Israeli stooge just three seconds ago. Foreign policy genius Jason Whitlock even took to social media to credit Marjorie Taylor Greene, Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson for being the driving force behind the ceasefire!
This is what happens when you confuse content creation with geopolitical analysis. We are surrounded by influencers who don’t care about truth, consistency or consequences. They care about clicks. Attention. Followers. That’s it. That’s the whole ideology. If the wind blows in one direction, they’ll ride it and sell T-shirts on the way.
This was never World War III. It wasn’t even close. It was a targeted military confrontation between a Western ally and a terrorist regime that funds proxy militias and chants for genocide. Israel didn’t start it. Iran did. Israel just refused to lie down and take it. But the grifter crowd doesn’t care about reality. They picked their villain based on what gets the clicks, and right now, the Jews get the clicks.
Now they want you to forget they were so very wrong. They want you to forget they were fearmongering for profit. They want you to applaud them while they pretend they had a role in stopping something that never even started.
Don’t let them rewrite the story. Don’t reward the people who lie to you and then demand applause for “changing their minds.” Don’t fall for the scam.
As Tucker Carlson recently said, “Don’t let the propagandists lie to you.” Let’s start with Tucker Carlson.
